Canine First Aid & Preparedness

Many Thanks to SCVKC Member Nadine Kuhlemeier for presenting an informative program on Canine First Aid & Preparedness at our March 2020 meeting!

With all the time our companions spend in the car with us; the information was timely and as requested by the attendees we are including her handouts here. Nadine also walked us through the items in the Canine First Aid Box that she created using the items recommended in the handouts.

Canine Emergency Contact Information – This 2 page document supplies information on the dog(s) and driver. Nadine recommended inserting a completed copy in a sheet protector and using zip-ties to attach it to each of the dog kennels in your vehicle. Dog information would be unique to the dog in each kennel.
